Daikon radish sprouting seeds are loved for their nutritious properties and zesty flavor. Radish sprouts have a characteristic radish flavor and pungent kick that's sure to enliven any cuisine they’re added to. Try sprinkling in wraps, sandwiches, salads, and dips. 

Raphanus sativus, or daikon radish, is a type of radish and edible root vegetable that comes from the cabbage family. It is believed that they originated in China. There is evidence of them in Egypt before the pyramids were built, and the Romans were known to grow a great many varieties of them. The name is derived from the Latin radix, which means root. They are a staple in both China and Japan, where they are pickled in brine.

In Oaxaca, Mexico, they celebrate the radish in a festival called De Los Rabanos, literally translated as Radish Night, on December 23rd as a part of the Christmas celebration. In the US, they are mainly used as an additive to salads or as a garnish. They are also an ingredient present in mustard, horseradish, and wasabi.

Allow the radish seed to soak for 6–12 hours, then rinse and drain every 8–12 hours. Refrigerate in a sealed container for optimal use.

In rare cases, it can take up to 35 days for items to arrive. If your order takes longer than 25 business days to arrive, you can contact us and we will do our best to take the necessary steps to take care of the issue. If your order contains a pre-ordered or back-ordered item, we will ship any items we have available immediately and ship the items that are pre-ordered or back-ordered immediately when we have them available. So if you ordered more than one item on a single order and receive only a part of your item don't worry, you will receive your other items shortly after.
